And have you tried turkey, banana, warm milk, lemon balm tea? The first three contain L-Trytophan which encourages sleep, with turkey containing the highest amount and milk only working if its been warmed. Create a wind-down routine where you don't do active things - work or exercise - for an hour say, take a hot bath, read. If you can't sleep, don't lie there feeling frustrated - get up and do something calming for like twenty minutes and try again. I sleep terribly most of the time, and do not take my own advice haha. Thank you for the suggestions..i was under a lot of stress and drinking a lot of coffee and energy drinks made things worse for me but after i posted this i went out for a long walk by the beach and got some melatonin and that worked for me , i was able to get some good sleep ..lols why wouldn't you follow your own advice it all makes a lot of sense specially that part about the turkey.
