As far as a photo, this is just beautiful. The middle distance focus gives it a strong center and a good draw for the eye. However, while I do truly appreciate the sacrifice that all of our fallen countrymen have given, it should be more than three simple colors that draws them to the end of the earth. The symbolism is in no way lost in the picture, although a flag is a poor substitute for a lost son, husband, wife, father, mother, child, or any other life. The truest form of salute that we could possibly give to those soldiers would be to look on this day as a people and decide if the sacrifice given by these brave souls was worth their lives to attain. No disrespect whatsoever to those who have lost loved ones or those who have passed, but the only way to honor the fallen is to make sure that no one else falls when not truly needed. Much love and beautiful shot.
