I've been listening to Apocaliptica a lot lately ,specially a song called "Farewell" and this photo is inspired by the feeling i get when i listen to that song, if you guys are into instrumental music you should definitely listen to them. P.s No textures used here ,i sprayed water and used my flash to get that effect.
This is beautiful - I can see and almost touch the incredible velvet softness of the petals, and the shower of what appears to be tiny water droplets - the tiny sparkles on the right hand petal are mesmerising - it's real magic Ah the true magic of nature - thank you so much for creating and capturing this beautiful, intricate moment that so many viewers of this would never have seen if it weren't for your creation and sharing of your work - I truly appreciate it, and it is additionally incredible in its own right - as at a glance are all your other works - esp macro - What is it sitting on? It looks like it's floating on water - is it on a glass bench or table or somehting ? Or is it in a glass dish of water? {Phaps the latter on closer inspection?} When you say 'no textures' - referring to the 'effect' - do you mean the 'effect' of water droplets in the upper right hand corner diffusing down? The water in the air? - Did you take that photo while the spray of water was airborne, before it settled? Gosh how tricky! - It's worked incredibly Thank you for letting us see this image - I truly want to stare at this forever
"farewell" was the song I chosed to play at the funeral of one of my friends. I don't know you're emotions, but this artwork pretty fits in my opinion. Well done
Thank you very much i love that song i think it is one of their best songs if not "The best" by them ..by the way sorry to hear about your friend but i can't think of a song that would be more fitting for such a tragic occasion.
